I wish to make something clear to people, even if you think ZKK is bullshit, there is no fucking way Kaido survives this arc. His dream was not to get defeated by Joyboy like some two piece readers are now trying to claim. Its to die in a glorious way. And Luffy didnt kill Kaido!

SOMEBODY has to kill Kaido before this arc ends alright? Be it CP0, Zoro, or the people of Wano wailing on his unconscious body, he has to die. Even with the newly acquired knowledge that his captures were fake, his seven defeats prior to Luffy were not. If all it took to make Kaido into a nice guy who no longer poses a threat to anybody was defeating him, the Wano arc would never have happened in the first place.

Nobody has to kill kaido.
Luffy destroyed his ambition. He no longer needs wano to start the world's greatest war because Luffy is going to do it anyways since he is joyboy.

Given that kaido wanted to fight in the greatest war, I'm willing to be Oda will have him go fuck off somewhere until Luffy finds one piece, and then bring him back for the final war.

Alternatively, I could see Kaido dying to Teach. Teach and Kaido both have a connection to Rocks and Kaido's relationship with Xebec is yet to be explored. Its a big possibility kaido, big mom, and teach could all be in elbaf or wherever the BB pirates are.

So subtle change I guess: the spoilers were saying that Kaido believed Joyboy is the one who will beat him. The official translations say Joyboy is the one who will come to beat him. So the implication is not that he's going to give up simply because of Luffy.

So really Teach is Joyboy because he finishes Kaido, and Luffy is just some pest

Teach won't kill Kaido because Oda won't reuse his fruit. Simple as that. Too repetitive to fight two big bads with the same powers. As far as "Kaidos ambition being crushed" I call bullshit on that to be blunt. His ambition was not to start the final war to end all wars, and neither was it to be defeated by Joyboy. Both Joiyboy and the final great war were tools to allow him to DIE in a glorious fashion. Since Kaido from the looks if things is still alive, so is his ambition!

Kaido will stop believing in the Joyboy legend since Joyboy couldn't kill. Either that or consider Joyboy just another person that can't live up to his expectations.

Either way, Kaido will truly think he is invincible and go on a rampage.

I feel this arc would spice up quite a lot if Goda San allowed us to see Kaido go on a rampage. A defeated Kaido would also stick as contrary to what Oda claimed about Luffy and the punch
