I would leave with all the gathered forces and head somewhere unknown... wait until the BM/Kaiou alliance falls apart and then pick off a calamity or two and only then would I attack Kaidou with my full force.

Sanji lures big mom with cake near a waterfall= When she gets there, have every single person bum rush her to push her of the ledge.

At the same time have usopp fire tamas kibi dangos up kaidos mouth, then order him to destroy his own crew and big moms. GG wp.

I'm surprised they didn't try to show up when Luffy's Vivre Card started to burn. Like, what was the point of them having it? I thought they were supposed to rush to his aid when that happened. Idk.

Kind of silly for them to all be there for the Doflamingo fight, but not take it the step further and be there for the Kaido fight.

Raid Forces: 5,400
Enemy Forces: 30,000

Luffy really could've used the Grand Fleet here because they have 5,650 more people to add. That would've made Luffy have 11,050 to fight the 30,000 with instead of 5,400.

Luffy was woefully outnumbered.... what kind of a moron walks into a fight with 30,000 guys with only 1/6 of them? Madness

Definitely wait when the whole Beast Pirates Crew is not gathered at Onigashima.

But since it had to happen that day...

I wouldn't allow the weak samurai to join the battle. They would be at Wano to protect if anything went wrong. Then with only powerful enough people to stand Luffy/Kid CoC they would go around knocking as much fodders as they can with it. Then Scabbards would make sure that Captain Trio (at least the 3 of them) had a clean way to Kaido and taking their fights with Commanders and Tobiroppo (and possibly Big Mom too) since they can't do shit against Kaido. Of course not only them but all Strawhats and other crews too and making their match-ups. Minks would fight Gifters. The less important characters would fight the Waiters and Pleasures.
