What would have happened if zoro didn‘t have the guts to face on probably the strongesr combo attack of two yonkos?

Would they have survived anyways? Or would they have been wiped out including luffy?

If they would survive this attack why did zoro even bother to tank this attack for one second and risk his life in order for them to escape?

If they would survive why did zoro say „We cannot allow them to wipe us (meaning all including luffy) out“ quite literally?

The combined attack of big mom and kaido is a named attack, not just some casual blow.

Is there any attack that could surpass the lethality of this attack? Imagine zoro got almost pulverized even with his high level of CoA. It was nothing compared to the sheer power of hakai. It was only good enough to buy law some little time to move everyone out of there.
They would all easily survive it and be in better condition then Zoro was.

The feats of the characters fighting Big Mom/Kaido when they were serious, unlike when they were non serious with Hakai.
Even though they weren‘t seriously at the time they still had the intent to wipe them out, that‘s why they were surprised when zoro blocked it for a short time and when they saw that they were still standing.

Fulgora at a minimum is 50% of hakai. And look at the circumstances. Look how much damage zoro took while blocking...Meanwhile Kidd took 100% without blocking and continued fighting.

And regardless Zoro never tanked hakai.
1st of all where did you get the idea that Kid took Fulgora head on? What we know that both Kid and Killer were caught in it but none of them took full damage they were just blown away.

And how did you come to the conclusion that Fulgora is 50% of Hakai. If you say its the scale then you are wrong. Fulgora's scale looked bigger than Hakai. Which i don't think it translate to damage. Hakai is a direct attack aimed at them. While Fulgora is an AOE huge attack that was aimed at Onigashima where Kid "should" be.

And to the answer the topic. If Zoro didn't block hakai no one would die but they will be injured and law eventually swaps them all damaged. Zoro just bought them time in his expense.
