1) Smoker parallels Garp relative to his relationship with Roger and mentality as a Marine.
Smoker was never forgotten or replaced and it's literally/factually non-textual to claim Koby has been given more focus than him.
2) Blackbeard is more clearly more the final villain than Imu and people who vehemently disagree with this have almost entirely mindwiped the thematic and tangible importance of the Gura Gura no Mi and of the darkness fruit relative to Luffy initially in how it contrasted with Luffy as a rubber man and now towards Nika; even though the sun theming/dawn relative to Blackbeard's darkness was discussed long prior to Nika even being a thing.
3) Mihawk and Crocodile are relevant and not subsidiary to Buggy and in that light people totally misinterpret the "12 most important in OP" or whatever double spread which impacts how they're spoken of as well as other characters who matter just as much.

- The writing has gone to hell since the Timeskip, with lots of retcons and low quality storytelling.
- Nika was the worst thing to happen to the series.
- Oda has no concept of time. He keeps saying the story will end in 3 years when it will be at least 7 more years.
- Koby will be as strong as Luffy EoS.

Zoro will be much closer to Luffy EoS(big power jump coming) to parallel Roger/Reyleigh and Shanks/Beckman. Also gives more weight to the WSS title which honestly feels lackluster atm

Oda neither enjoys to write all the SHs equally nor does he think they are equally worth writing for and its painfully obvious with every chapter of the manga

-One piece is stretched ,everything after skypia are just reused, reskinned and remixed content with similar story.
-similar to the crew member, they get condensed and stretched again to match with the story.
- Every crew after chopper are unnecesarry, since they all just seperated or kitbash from previous member concept.
-Ussop suffer the most from this since he already a result of condensing charachter, but now his hammer/inventor/shipwright gimmick are given to franky, and his share comedic gimmick to brook, he also lost his abilities to fight with mundane abilities after shounen power creep, so now we left with liar snipper who do exagerated reaction and do nothing even tho he now already reach one of his dream visiting elbaf.
- some charachter are get vaulted because they gonna be important only in the finale and oda curently doesnt know what to do with them. Example : smoker
- vivi and robin are supposed to be 1 charachter in the first draft. And the reason robin join is because vivi is one of the vaulted charachter
- the main story journey and place are inspired alot by original dragon quest 3, so does the original crew:
