What's a moment or event in one piece that you were hoping to happen but it didn't pan out example many thought Zoro would fight the shogun but turns out Orochi was just a cockroach

On the flip side what's a moment you wish didn't happen but did ?

For me

Did Happen- what i wish did happen is I wanted to see all the strawhats Vs Kaido I think it would of been a good call back to the strawhats teaming up against Oars on Thriller Bark and show off their team work

Didn't Happen- What I wish didn't happen is Sabo coming out of nowhere and just stealing the Mera Mera from Rebecca i had high hopes for her eating the fruit using its power to get her get back againt diamante and then joining the crew and with fhe Mera she automatically jump to 4th strongest in the crew until Jinbe joined up

Wishing that Luffy would grow after the Marineford or really wishing any character would grow and change as the story progressed.

I think it was chapter 900, when BM finally snapped out of her madness and get serious to stop the SHs, the chapter she was singing.

I would have sinked the bloody ship and have the SHs actually understand that if you are so stupid to step in a yonko HQ with half your crew well, it won't end well but nope. Oda had to make a fake cliffhanger.

I didn't want an of Dressrosa to happen. Sure i was happy to see Sabo and Luffy finally got a fleet but pretty much everything that happened was undesirable. Doflamingo should have used Zoro as a puppet to fight Luffy, would have had so much mire impact. Usopp running out on the tonatattas was heart breaking. Usopp being a God gag. His sympathy defeat of sugar twice. Being fodderized by tremolo. Fujitora sitting around and doing nothing and then letting Luffy go. Luffy saying he didn't want to be a great man pretty much ruined him as a character for me. Sabo eating Ace's fruit was meh. Viola joking about being raped or whatever the implications were their. People constantly hating Rebecca. For what reason? She's like 15 and a haki using warrior and people hated her because she cried. Kyros losing a leg for no reason other than to....?

Usopp and Zoro drinking the saki cup meant for Luffy. Sanji having an epic moment against BMP's only for it to be him kicking a cannon ball or something. Doflamingo saying g2 was to weak even though Luffy had him on the ropes and g3 not being used properly saying it was to slow even after he used it to fight an admiral right after. Birdcage being the strongest move in the game yet he used it on an island instead of Luffy's face.

Doflamingo splitting an island open with his face and somehow not spending the rest of the year in the ice. The entire island reacting to Zoro cutting pica and absolutely no comment on KKG which was a Yonkou level feat.dressrosa was the absolute worse

The only thing worse which eventually made me stop reading the manga was Oda turning Kuma into a cuckold and secondly making Waipa the guard of gannfall.
