For Zoro haters this is the bigger problem, they have tried to downplay Zoro and try to glue him to his hilt diff victim so much that I dont know what new cope they will bring. First they tried to push the DR Dorry and Broggy as opponents for Zoro and Sanji even though Pedoji has no real connection to those two like Luffy, Zoro and Usopp have. Then they tried to push the Killingham and Sommers only for Zoro to treat the stronger one as training dummy while Sanji is getting beat up by the weaker one.

We dont know how long it will take for Sanji to unlock CoC and then to flow it. Luffy and Zoro had Wano to show their CoA mastery and flow while Sanji hasnt even shown the black coating level of CoA like Lucci did in Egghead. So Oda is gonna speed rush probably and try to wrap up this fight before 1200 apparently. The setup for the Sanji vs Killingham fight was there since the capture of Killingham by Franky/Sanji/Jinbe but there was no setup like this for Zoro.

We dont know what Oda can do to stall things for Zoro, we have seen enough stalling shit since forever. So there is a chance that Sommers is not yet finished. BUT there is one thing that has been pointed out or rather couple of things. Firstly there is no VS chapter title for Zoro vs Sommers which is odd as you expect Oda to give a VS chapter title for a main arc fight. Secondly the arc fights usually end up with a finisher move and here we see an unnamed attack by Zoro from a far away view. Thirdly there is the last panel where the scream sfx (of falling down apparently) is shown with an empty which seems to be cut. This indicates that both Zoro and Sommers have fallen to the underworld.

A similar sfx was shown near Luffy when he was at his limit and Loki was taking over the fight. What are the chances that Zoro and Sommers have fallen down near the battle in the underworld. There are multiple ways that this can play out. One is that Sommers gets saved and gets even more amped up by Imu to help stand against his opponent. The other is that Imu kills him for his failure and weakness and absorbs his power to amp himself since he has been getting beat up ever since he transformed into this new form. It might save Imu from getting any damage if Sommers was actually killed and it will be an easier option for Oda to kill off an evil villain via a horrible death without showing one of his MC killing a villain on panel.

This would also tie up with Luffy, Loki and Zoro being featured on the cover together. If people havent noticed Oda pointed at the parallel between Zoro and Loki first and then he duoed up Luffy and Loki while also showing that Zoro and Loki were unaware of their power (at least Loki didnt know the name of it) and then added quite some Zoro and Hajrudin scenes. And we cannot forget Usopps connections to the giants and specially with Dorry, Broggy and Hajrudin. I think its gonna be these 5 against Imu. We know Usopp has made some sort of plan and Oda brought Hajrudin to this battle. Dorry and Broggy are being replaced by Loki and Hajrudin. They were made false kings recently and now the princes are here. The connection of Luffy, Zoro and Usopp with Dorry and Broggy in Little Garden is now being shifted to Loki and Hajrudin. The end of Elbaf is supposed to be flashy and for a villain who has shown so much of their powers in such a long drawn out battle it seems his time is over.

I was thinking that it might be similar to Thriller Bark where everybody was involved in the fight but Oda has specfically kept the weaker SHs away from these fights. So I dont think anybody else is joining, even though a lot of certain people will be wishing for Sanji to be involved too but he is already going ext diff with Killingham and his mission is important to stop the kids from being taken away. Zoro had no such mission since Sommers was just waiting for Killingham to bring the kids. And Sanji doesnt have the connection with the giants Dorry, Broggy, Loki and Hajrudin that Luffy, Zoro and Usopp have.

It wont take long for Sanji to unlock aCoC and flow it, narratively it needs to be checked off at this point in the story.
What he will do afterwards, I dont know. I would actually like him to join the Imu fight. Sanjibros had wild dreams about his performance on rooftop, had he been there... This is a great chance for him to show what he can actually do, in a very favourable situation, blessed by the power of handful of strongest.

That said, never get delusional and start thinking that Sanji is comparable to Zoro, power wise. Hand him all the possible PUs in this show and still do not make that mistake. Zoro is not the guy who has equals. That's the essence of world's strongest character. While his performance might not show much at times, his ceiling is always far above all others.

If Zoro fell down to Underworld, there is only one thing I want - 1vs1 with Imu. Gaban has revealed that Imu is nothing special, debunked all the mystery in his old, heavily injured state. Now, other characters should sit back and watch what someone significantly stronger than prime healthy Gaban can do.

I dont care if Oda does him dirty in the end, to somehow save Imu for Luffy to deliver the last hit. I dont want a team up either, Gaban has shown that someone as powerful as Zoro doesnt need a drag down. Others can have a go before or after Zoro but let Zoro do what Zoro does best.

Would love to see Zoro vs Shamrock
There's a conflict of interest here.

Luffy fighting and beating Shamrock as Shanks proxy, manifesting his position as great pirate that overshadows his idol

Zoro fighting and beating Shamrock as Shanks proxy, manifesting his position as an actual rival against Mihawk, who is known to be slightly superior to Shanks.

I think oda will pick his chosen boi here, tbh.

I expect the best we can get here for Zoro is an equal clash, indicating equivalency without clear winner or loser. That will narratively do for him to face mihawk as an actual threat. Big prize goes to condom, as usual.
