honestly for me G5 is one of the worse thing that happened in op i didn't liked luffy vs kaido that much it was becoming some what better before luffys death (or what ever it was) but changing his df and g5 destroyed it for me
i don't mind goofy thing but even for me g5 was bad
i wished i could like it but i can't although i don't mind it in none serious fights but not in main fights and it wont be that funny when he already used it against kaido and lucci at least G5 was goofy and bad ass at same time g5 is just goofy

Kaido is a goofy character though, even by design. It lent itself easily to the Tom & Jerry shenanigans that Oda wanted to do. No other character could be used as a skipping rope like he was.
