Questions & Mysteries What's with the ZKK obsession?

Because it’s fun to talk about and something different.

We know the ordinary fighting arc pattern of “Luffy beats Number One, Zoro beats Number Two.” Not so much to discuss in those cases. There was no reason to argue about Zoro killing Crocodile or Doflamingo because there was absolutely no reason to think it would happen. Same way in the future there’s no reason to think Zoro will ever so much as fight Blackbeard.

But here, we do have this unique setup of Kaido and his theme of death, Zoro and Oden’s sword, the Ryuma legend of killing a dragon above the FC. That’s three unique, interlinked ideas that are worth talking about.
Luffy beats the number 1 strongest hasn't really been a thing for a long while.
Hody sure ok, Ceasar? Nope. Doflamingo, nope that was fuji, Jack wasn't fought by Luffy, Katakuri isn't Big Mom last I checked.

As strong as your ignorance?
Luffy- the main character- says he will be the one to take down Kaido, multiple times, as far back as 400 chapters ago and has reaffirmed this almost 10 times, going so far as to say it will be a 1vs1, he has taken personal 1vs1 losses that he needs to reclaim, that can only be reclaimed 1vs1. Kaido is his DIRECT OPPOSITION TO BECOME THE PIRATE KING alongside the other Yonko.

Zoro- is Luffy's subordinate, and after lamenting he couldn't bring Kaido to his knees and closing the Enma loop, has entrusted his captain to beat Kaido, showing no sign of needing to face him again, rather trusting Luffy's new understanding. Zoro is not fighting to become pirate king, that is a goal beyond him.

One thing that Buggles me about this ZKK stuff, is that the Zoro fans don't even know what that means. Like, if you mean by ZKK that "Zoro is going to kill Kaido" then that means that Zoro will be the fodder executioner, like the faceless and nameless fodders who killed Roger.

What's the pride in it? Are Zoro fans seriously going to be proud of Zoro killing already defeated guy? First, it goes against Zoro's character, as far as I can tell, Zoro is not going to kill already defeated and helpless guy even if it's Kaido himself. Second, if Kaido is meant to be killed after being defeated, then based on the narrative, it is much more impactful and logical if the executioner is someone from the scabbards, like for example Kinemon. But, if by ZKK you mean that "Zoro is going to kill Kaido by lending the last blow" then what you're saying, is that Zoro will be the one to defeat Kaido and get the credit for it.

Even the most dieheart Zoro fans have to understand that that's not going to happen. In every arc, whether Luffy defeats the villain or not, whether it fits Luffy's character theme or not, Luffy always gets the credit for defeating the villain of an arc. Luffy always lends the last blow, you can go back and watch/read every single chapter or episode, Luffy always, and I mean ALWAYS lends the last blow.

They refuse this logic. I've already explained it before.
I said Zoro would be cutting down a defeated man. Where's the pride and honor.

One thing that baffles me is how you and the other goons continue to comment on matters that include zoro and kaido when oda already destroyed you on it.
