I love how, even if you think you know what's going to happen, half the time you have no idea.

And, even if you DO KNOW WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN, no one will believe you, because Oda's writing is so ridiculous and beyond most people's standard of sanity.

Someday, somebody's going to post a panel of this manga, with a random dude with a rooster and the number 4 tattooed on his butt cheek from a random ass chapter way before Wano, and we'll go, OHHHH THIS FORESHADOWED FOURTRICKS ALL ALONG



I would have never been brave enough to put this magnificent manimal in my series. One Piece's crazy humor also gets me.
(I've been holding off on asking this for over a year, but how does Fourtricks poop? Yikes)

Fuck the SMILES make me laugh, man. It's interesting how the SMILE Fruits makes people miserable in the series by making them smile no matter what, while the SMILE Fruits make us laugh at the ridiculous monstrosities Kaido and Doflamingo created. I honestly hope Chopper cures the Gifters at this point.

Buggy being a Yonko was expected. At least by me since he became a Warlord.

But I don't give a shit about that info. It is very uninteresting. If I'm correct we learned that Buggy became a Warlord by seeing him doing his things at New World. Now we learn that he is a Yonko by news... Doesn't hit the same.

Luffy giving Nami her hat is still a top tier moment for me. I love how One Piece inspires people to care about others. The true treasure really is the friends we made along the way, because the physical treasures we find and make are found with our friends by our sides.

Edit: Oh, hell yeah, I just got Zoro. Sweet. This has been a good day, damn.

I feel like I've got a good grasp on the end of Wano on a few levels, but I have NO idea what Oda has planned for post Wano. Elbaf intrigues the fuck out of me. I hope he doesn't rush. Glad he took the break. A series like One Piece will always be judged by its ending. If you read 1333 chapters on One Piece, and it ends in Charlos shooting Luffy in the dick to kill him, fuck that shit.

I'm excited to see the Dawn.

If Luffy kills Charlos by slapping Charlos's bullet back into Charlos's dopey-head with his rubber-dick, this is definitely the best manga of all time.

I agree, each nation will become independent, and the Celestial Dragons and WG will be destroyed.

But, the Marines (Koby), Revolutionaries (Sabo), Pirates (Luffy), and Royals (Vivi) will come together to form a better world, that's balanced. There are plenty of good Marines.

I like the badass moments. Luffy is badass even when being hopelessly romantic. "Nami! You are my nakama!" That scene is so unique and original.

I also like the adventurous lore. Going down from sky island with a poetic and hopeful story depiction,





This moment of Sky Island's epilogue is so vibrantly amazing and unmatched. If Berserk's Eclipse is the peak of hopelessness, then this Sky Island's closure is the peak of hope itself.

If only Oda knows how to use this technique - blending of poetic storytelling with the grande lore encompassing the adventure - properly in the final battle of each arcs, One Piece will be peak fiction once again.
