Yes, it's great but only because of what we consider hype moments.... I mean mostly see characters whom oda hid the whole time... Which he still does... And that doesn't work anymore too. It was just a war and did not really add much to the one piece adventure(there were no SHs and people consider it the best, that itself tells it) .

I see lots of people that have started to not like it as much are people that have agendas or headcanons and get super tilted when those things don't happen. Just take the story at face value and it's enjoyable, make theories if you want since it can be fun but once you start getting angry your theory didn't pan out you've lost the plot.

Man, your post is so accurate, very well said.
Wano is the perfect arc for the things you've said. Many fans got angry over their unfulfilled theories and what oda should have done, without any real reason behind that anger imo.

No Im not hopin anything
But oda said "marineford will be nothing compared to wano"
He also said "sabo will...vivi will... hancock will.."
And also he said "kaido not will be defeated just because luffy punch is so strong"
Oda make a hype but he not deliver it
Thats why a lot of us hate one piece
Oda is a fraud

I still enjoy One Piece, but Wano will always be a letdown in my eyes. Too many plot threads introduced were either ended anticlimatically or forgotten about, because Oda tried to accomplish too much for an arc that doesn't feel impactful as it should have been. The constant teasing of Yamato becoming a Strawhat only to pull the rug, the possbile backstory of Zoro swept under the rug. Too many fake out deaths for a huge battle involving two yonko. More people should have died in battle instead of being off-screened or implied.

Dont just say Enies Lobby because its the peak, what I mean is at what point did the story genuinely become bad

For me it was the timeskip, I think Oda at this point lost much of his passion and has since been milking for $$ (hes worth 300M)
FMI and PH are the 2 worst arcs personally and only Dressrosa, Reverie, and Egghead have been redeemable (albeit Dressrosa has many issues)
