Current Events When is Luffy going to be impressive?

Portrayal wise, it would seem swords are Kaidos weakness. However, Kaido is a bit of a damage sponge, so even Mihawk, who currently holds the title as 'Strongest Swordsman' may have difficulty delivering damage capable of completely defeating Kaido.
I also don't think that Kaido's fighting style would necessarily hinder him in a fight against Mihawk. While we have not seen much of Mihawks full capabilities, I think it would be safe to assume that attack like Thunder Bagua could cause serious damage for Mihawk.
Ultimately, the fight would come down to whether Mihawk would be able to dish out enough damage to incapacitate Kaido before Kaido can fully retaliate as otherwise, Mihawk is going to have a bad day.

Luffy looked underwhelming because he needed a mid battle power up to catch up to the the other 4 sn and yamato, even though he has many tools that they don't, like mastery of haki flow, immunity to lightening, bs high fire resistance, plote armor, haki blooms, and unbreakable bones which means he only has to deal with pain and fatigue.
Oda wrote himself into a corner with that decision because when the other characters get their respective power ups they will once again reclaim their place as stronger than luffy. Or oda won't give them power ups but instead he will give luffy more power ups, and that will make him look like a fraud.
No matter what luffy does he won't be impressive, he is not relatable, his struggles are fake, and his wins are mostly PIS.

Excellent question. I don't know, when the raid started I thought he was top 1 on the alliance side, then Oda had him being one shoted by Apoo like a fucking fodder.

Why cant you understand that giving a scar is not the only measure of damage, in recent vivra card kaido said he is excited to fight luffy the most since oden, kaido was defeated multiple times but wasn't getting scarred, so i guess all these people who defeated him are weaker then zoro, you guys are low effort trollers
Luffy is the most impressive from his generation..
The youngest yet the strongest with advanced haki in every type.
Outperform all the supernova, kaido is the strongest and that is all.
He take hits from the retainers,the strongest SN, Ashura and adv CoC attacks from luffy and yamato and he is ok....

so it is a "plot armor" and "zenkai boosts" for others as despite they don't have "immunity" to lightening, then can have no damage and even though they don't have so called all the Luffy had...it is not that Luffy getting powerups are fraud....on contrary that makes things Luffy struggle more realistic while others becoming strong without anything because "plot" made them strong accordingly.....his struggles are fake because that is what you want to believe and be biased, as simple as that.....Oda made him struggle even after powerups which makes more realistic than not having troubles and one shot after powerups and stuff

Oda ignoring established story elements for the sake of "god luffy" plotline.
