From Oda literally drawing a cover with Zoro and Luffy and their blades on Kaido's throat, all while caption says these two might eliminate the dude.

From Oda making Kaido a dragon all while making Ryuuma the Dragon slayer of Wano, and drawing many portrayals between him and Zoro.

From Oda making Yasu talk about someone taking Kaido's head, while panel focuses on Zoro.

From Oda giving Zoro the sword of Oden, who vowed to take Kaido's head.

From official OP magazine literally saying Zoro might kill Kaido to make a new legend.

And list honestly goes on.

No theory is fact by any means, and people who pretended ZKK was confirmed were definitely being foolish, yet if you pretend ZKK came out of nowhere and was some wishful thinking instead of something the author and series promoted? You're genuinely daft.

The idea definitely crossed Oda's mind and the possibility was hinted by official material and author himself. Ultimately, it didn't turn out to be what he went with.

The biggest problem with theory is that people think that oda can give this role to zoro. But there was huge consistency.

When we entered WCI season, everybody know that this is sanjis arc and everybody enter huge expectation from the arc behalf sanji.

But what we saw that ? When luffy was fighting sweet commanders during arc , sanji just made cake. That means , no matter who you are , luffy is the favorite character of oda with hugeee gap.

show me another manga that puts mc more at the center. one piece is mainly mc centred manga .

So people thought that huge role will be given zoro in wano because oda put some signs. This is always funny.
If you are familiar odas writing , for oda , preparing and giving big mom cake and saving the crew with scaring kaido and saving rooftop are totally same importance. that is all. Just you need to know Oda's writing style . That is all.

But coming from the dude who thought WsW vs Zoro as his main match-up is better theory, and quit forum because Zoro went to Rooftop, can't expect much else.

The character, with impenetrable dragon skin, who can engulf his body in flames so hot, that it can melt the horn of Onigashima in a split second, dying from being submerged in lava? I seriously doubt it.

I'll believe Kaido is dead when it is stated in the manga.

before it even being a big thing many years before wano in a video Rogersbase brought up this idea

i think it first become a big thing with magazine article about ryuma and another legend of killing dragon
then became stronger with:
enma shit
yasuie death speech on zoros face
some other shit in between in vc and other shits
zoro saying he want to kill/cut kaido to pieces
and other shits that kaido said about samurai
add ryuma killing a dragon in sky of flower capital and you will get zkk theory

then it became zkk cult in roof top when they also add lot of stretch myth and etc

even tough i never was a supporter for it but legit it seems oda was trolling zkk fans
