Powers & Abilities Where is Kaido's awakening?

He can certainly predict a weakening of their forces though. Not showing awakening for Big Mom was odd, and it makes me believe that there's a reason behind that such as someone else using the same power. There's also the fact that if Kaido were to show a significant power up such as as awakening then there would be too much contrast between his powers and Big Mom's.
How would he predict it? He totally doesn't know Luffy has support from the samurai. The last time BB learned something about Luffy, that Luffy was a one-shot material for Kaido. BB himself proclaimed it's too soon for him to be a Yonko. Kaido has awakened and he's been already using it. Oda just didn't spell it out for us.
I can make 3 explanations :
- normal Zoan awakenings are too dangerous, you become a wild beast without brain etc so Kaido doesn’t use it entirely. He only opens the door slightly and let little bits of awakening pass : bulk form etc.
- the bulk form isn’t awakening and awakening is still too dangerous to use. So kaido will only use it in last resort. And against Luffy last attack he will become a wild huge beast and full power.
- It’s just Oda blue balling us and waiting for the end clash to make Kaido use his awakening. Like when Doffla used his god thread etc.

Samurais are useless power wise. By default the nature of a clash taking place should already open the possibility that people's forces have been weakened but I'll agree that he cannot possibly know luffys power level (for good or bad) to gauge the level of damage to Kaidos tripulation. There could be also a spy who's been in Wano all long, it doesn't necessarily have to be Blackbeard. Burgess wanted to steal Luffys fruit, perhaps by bringing Luffys dead body to Blackbeard or the bag full of fruits, but they've been hunting fruits so in my opinion it's more than reasonable for something to happen here. I already made a theory that BBP will be the real reunification of Rox and will include BM, Kaido and Shirohugue powers. Perhaps even Rock's himself assuming he had yami yami too.
Kaido likely focused so strongly on training his haki he didn’t train his mind to control his awakening.

However, if the more alcohol he has inhibiting his mind the stronger his devil fruit becomes, when he is completely unconscious his devil fruit can awaken and he’ll go berserk.

Teach likes to take the scavenger path, i.e. swoop in after others have done the hard work and reap spoils. Teach is wily and efficient. I bet he is at WCI. An injured Katakuri and Cracker can’t stop the BB pirates.
