Controversial Which arc is worse: Fourth Great Ninja War vs Wano.

Honestly I don't think it's very fair to compare the 2

That was Naruto's last arc vs just another arc in One Piece (that was built up for years but still)

The Great Ninja War is worse for me mostly because (just like most final arcs in shonen) it kinda destroyed a big part of Naruto for me

I mean let's be real... how many mainstream shonen manage to stick the landing without completely destroying their series and being looked upon poorly after it's over?

I'll say the GNW for now but know that has an asterisk to it

I think since Oda had planned the ending from the start, its already a guarantee to be better than the GFNW which gave an obvious vibe of Kishimoto being unable to map out a clear endgame from the start. Oda's pacing, gags, and fodder-spotlite in the last arc might be horrible...but he will get the most important points covered instead of Ashura-Indra stuff and Madara built-up only to be Zetsued and Kaguyaed

It's hard to be objective, since everybody will vote opposed to their favorite manga.

Imo the 4th Great Ninja War is far far worse just due to the ammount of asspulls in one arc:
- Itachi and Izanami
- the Hokage getting revived due to random Uzumaki clan jutsu only known to Orochimaru
- hashirama cells
- Ashura and Indra reincarnations
- Kaguya
- Neji dying just to connect Hinata and Naruto later
- Madara susanoo without eyes

And I'm probably forgetting a lot

The powerups of the RT5 and the Gomu Gomu retcon are as bad as all of those.

Naruto spending countless years hammering into peoples head that you don't have to be born gifted, or chosen, or special etc.. etc..., and all you have to do is work hard and you can achieve great things, only to all that thrown out the window in a single arc, solidified the Fourth Ninja War as one of the worst arcs in Shonen. Period.

That was one of the main themes of the entire story, and still pisses me off till this day how everything panned out.

Fourth Great War. Shit was so cringe. Obito kept claiming Rin wasn't the reason for his actions... yet in the end his entire character was focused on simping for Rin. WTF

Wano doesn't come close to the pile of garbage that was the 4th Ninja War.

Obito turned out to be the main villain for majority of Part 2, only to find out that his goal was to live in a illusion with the image of a 13 year old girl he was still in love with, at 30 years old. Of course he got talked into becoming a good guy by the main hero after 15 years of evil. Also turns out that not only was Obito manipulating Pain, Obito was was being manipulated by Madara, who was being manipulated by Zetsu, who was actually serving Kaguya....yeah.

That's not even the worst part...Obito was turned to ash and Kakashi got his sharingan eye ripped out. Someway, somehow, Obitos soul came back, merged with Kakashi regenerating his lost eye, gives him double mangekyou and SOMEHOW is able to instantly and perfectly use Perfect Susanoo, a move only Eternal Mangekyou users can do. When Kaguya is beaten, Obito's soul vanishes taking Kakashi's sharigans with it, and Kakashi still keeping both his eyes...for some reason....

Still only scratches the surface of the war BS.

Fourth Worst Ninja war shits on the entire thing that has happened in the Naruto world before it. The main villian comes out of nowhere and is defeated out of nowhere too. Whereas Wano is preference and those who understand the story have no much fuss regarding it. Only those that don't understand it, or are Zkkstans or Latrineturds hate it because of their own agenda. Not perfect but not shitier than Naruto's ending.
