Mihawk is confirmed below Shanks since that makes no logical sense- Oda already said Mihawk > Shanks plenty of times so for him to go back on that randomly would cause a massive uproar. Same if Shiryu killed Mihawk since it's also just really shitty writing, Zoro's whole journey was to defeat Mihawk after all.
Stuff like the Admirals being confirmed above the Yonko, while not being something most people expect, is still not exactly going against anything that was set in stone beforehand. It wouldn't be as bad imo

Janitor killing Mihawk is at least plausibile, and would also be narratively justifiable, and would just cause a war and narrative change, because all sword swallowers will have to revert years of verbal diarrhea wanking Mihawk and try to apply it to the supreme janitor.

Yeah. There will be less reaction in general if admirals > Kaido but if admirals turn out to be above god king shanks then it will be a riot given how high shanks is being held by many in general fanbase.
