Depend of how it was done. To leave a scar Zoro has to cut through Kaidos impenetrable body. Laws shockwave on the otherhand is hax and attack the organ themself from within tn do damage. So I say scaring kaido is far better. And so is any attack that rely on AP only.

Bones is the place to hold muscles which directly related to strength. Skin/scales protects from bacteria etc in long term. Both BM and Kaidou were hyped for their durability, but Law's hax is basically cheating since it bypasses durability. No need to compare since Zoro's scar feat was not equipped with AdvCoC (his hyped powerup), while Law's feat was equipped with Awakening (his hyped powerup)

If there's no healing sh*t, broken bones are worse than having scar in the middle of the fight. Imagine both Sanji's legs are broken, he would be a goner afterwards because the bones which are the foundation of his legs are gone.
Meanwhile if you leave a permanent scar on both Sanji's legs, he would possibly still be able to continue the fight using his legs, but of course the power might decrease significantly. At least he can still keep up

Zoro having a significantly large amount of bones broken is strong enough to leave a scar. Zoro being scarred by Mihawk was wiped out. Weird comparison.

I'd be quicker to compare Vergo breaking a bone in Sanji to leaving a mental scar on Law. Which one means more?

Bones are healed multiple times this arc, I dnt think anyone who got scarred in one piece has healed such wounds; Luffy, zoro, Shanks, kaido to name a few. You tell me what more impressive, a scar that will remind you been touched up, or bones that can be healed with some milk?

In real life, broken bones are obviously more serious.
But in the world of anime, particularly one piece, scar is a lot more significant than broken bones.

1) Scar is a permanent remainder of an encounter or a relationship with another individual.
Think: luffy's scar by akainu, kaido's scar by oden, zoro's scar by mihawk, shank's scar by BB.

2) Broken bones can be healed easily in OP with no lasting consequences. Scar remains and stays, and it always ties back to the person who left the scar upon.
