Character Discussion Which portrayal will be better: Sanji 1v1 King/Queen or Zoro participation in the group fight against Kaido?

Since this forum is all about Zoro/Sanji discussions, my first thread is about their impact at the end of Onigashima Raid (assuming Sanji dont get the Gohan treatment and fight a YC).



Zoro:



I believe that Zoro will have a big role in Kaido’s downfall, and when Zoro reopen's Kaido's scar he will be view by Wano Kuni as a legendary swordman, similar to Oden [my guess].



Oda has been and will keep focusing on Zoro’s attack power, since that is Zoro main skill, and we probably gonna see Ashura for the first time. I’m also a firm believer that Zoro will use Conqueror's Haki sooner or later, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he used this arc.



Sanji:



For Sanji I believe that a 1v1 against Queen or King would be a extreme diff fight, where Sanji would be out of comission afterwards [Zoro will be in better condition after fulfilling his role against Kaido].



Oda could use this opportunity to show everything that Sanji learned during TS [Hell Memories as his new “ultimate” technique would be lame imo], and the full power of Raid Suit. Oda portrayal of Sanji has been of a all-rounder fighter, so his attack/speed/endurance should be more balanced than Zoro.



Conclusion:



At the end of the day the comparisons will be like “Zoro=Oden” and “Oden is much stronger than a King/Queen, so Zoro is much stronger than Sanji”. On the other hand some will argue that Sanji fought 1v1 and thats a greater feat than participating in a group fight.



My opinion is that Zoro portrayal will be overall better, but Sanji fans will have something to cling to it.

What will they have to cling to ?
Think of every single attack kaido has taken so far. Would king and queen together lmfao be alive if they took all that ? Would they fuck. Now all that combined is less than the feat of making a wound on HYBRID KAIDO something oden even didnt do.

If sanji beats king in a 1v1 and zoro participates in a team fight and mostly plays support with doing damage here and there it’s equal portrayal. It’s very likely both zoro and sanji get a 1 billion increase which would make sanjis bounty over Zoros still since his current bounty is already above zoro.

People can’t use zoro cutting kaido as an argument since you can cut sanji with regular armament because he isn’t a big brute monster


I wanna see where Oda goes. My guess is he won’t kill the 24+ year dynamic between zoro and sanji. People who say it’s a gag rivalry are just lying to themselves even cover stories feature their rivalry

Exactly, Zoro it's playing a major role in their defeat. He is just getting started. He will grow much stronger throughout the battle.

Even if Sanji does defeat king or queen in a one-on-one battle it still won't look better than Zoro. Those two have never been equal and will never be equal. Zoro has been equal to Luffy at times during pre ts.
