Speculations Which Supernova Have Been Eliminated from The Race For The One Piece?

Hi Worstgen,

Which of the Supernova can still try to get the One Piece? Some of them have been eliminated from that, right?

Considering Shanks destroyed Kidd's crew and boat, and Blackbeard destroyed Laws crew and boat (except for Law and Bepo- not sure if the others got away or if the boat was the only thing destroyed right now).

Either way- it is presumed those two are out of the competition, now.

So, who else isn't trying anymore? Hawkins?

Then, who IS still trying and who should we expect to see more of?

Unfortunately it is impossible for us to understand which Supernovas can remain in the race for One Piece, or return to the race for One Piece... because we are Westerners with a Western world view, but One Piece's mysteries and systems are written in an Eastern mythological, spiritual and esoteric worldview only understood by a tiny fraction of the human populace, the most pronounced, noble, elite and praiseworthy of scholars which we are not. The poetic language components and story elements based in Eastern literature that provide the hints of the future of the story cannot be read by the likes of lowly peasant scum like us.

We have no right to an opinion on the matter, nor could we provide one accurate in the slightest, even if you asked.

Sheesh it's just being objective. I realize subjective opinions about whether someone is dead or not applies but we're just talking here. Dialogue not debate.

At this point the race is between Luffy, Shanks and BB. The most important supernovas, as Luffy rivals, are already left out. Having anybody else would be a joke, just think about it: You have the reincarnation of Joyboy, god Nika, son of Dragon, nephew of Garp, child of the prophecy then there is Shanks with world class CoC, can scare away an admiral with just that, part of Roger crew and so on, BB the first man with 2 df and the most powerful ones in their category... and then there is a random bum like Hawkins or other lesser supernovas. It doesn't exist. This could be argued at best until the end of Kidd and, to a degree, Law.

It's only a 3 way race at this point. There's no supernova even remotely near Luffy currently. BB shanks and Luffy are the only real contenders for pk and it's by a mile no one is even close to them.

Literally all of them is out of the running

Luffy and the other top tier pirate crews out class them by a wide margin

Law and Kid decently strong on their own high tier at least but lack man power

The rest are just a bit stronger than fodder with weak crews

The only one we don't know full strength is urouge and I dont seem him matching the any of the top crews

Straw Hats
Cross guild
Black Beard Pirates
Red Haired Pirates

Only pirate crews relevant for the rest of the story

The rest are either

Unimportant
Vastly outclassed

Or allied with one of those four

Luffy and zoro will reach laugh tale.

Kid is a wild card, i would like him to change ways and become resentful after his defeat to shanks, but this is a shonen so he will be good by the end.

Law will die performing the ope ope surgery.

Hawkins died in onigashima.

Killer lost alongside his captain.

Bege is a family man.

X drake is a marine.

Bonney is a child.

Apoo has completed his role imo.

Urouge will most likely ally himself with blackbeard.

Kidd has a chance to make a come back depending on what he does. If he trains himself to use his df even better and uses haki he could come back as a power house but he will need to be attached to someone relevant. I'm a huge fan of him joining cross guild as none of the leaders really want to be pk and if someone like this improved Kidd and his crew joined not only would make the CG a actual threat but actually would have someone to actually compete with Luffy BB and shanks. I don't want Kidd to end up like law and be luffy's cheer leader. Law never really made being pk his main goal while it is kidds dream to be pk. I think Kidd should go down fighting for his dream not as a Luffy ally at eos.

Kidd being trained by shiki would be a nice.

Most likely to happen is him receiving training in elbaf after the giants get a hold of big mom's defeat by his hand.

I am not personally angry at you, just to be clear. I have actually found your threads and the exchanges they brought quite amusing. Regardless of your intentions, you caused Thunderbolt to emerge from the woodwork, and definitely enjoyed that. (Not saying that its a good thing that I enjoyed it, but it happened.) I confess that I have a strong urge to troll people, often. I have also often thought of making an alt account just to stir up mischief, but I have successfully resisted that urge so far. (I mean, doing things under the cover of an alt.)

If I make mischief, I'd rather get the stain of it on myself and the responsibility of it!

Basically everyone not Luffy and Zoro.

- Kid and Law are done. The most the become are allies at this point. They lost their RP progress.

- Bege wants to be a family man. Eventually he'll be an ally again Im sure.

- Drake is a Marine

- Hawkins is either dead or saved by Drake

- Apoo is unknown but I would assume he's just off roaming with the 1 Number or all 10 of them. I think Yamato having a cover story may address Drake, Hawkins, him and the Numbers.

- Bonney is obviously not in the running, she just wants to save her father.



That leaves basically Urouge, which I have a feeling he's not necessarily in the running either and has more importance with Lore than anything else.

None of the other Supernovas have ever posed a real threat to Luffy's dream of becoming Pirate King. Hell for Law and Kidd to even have a leg in this race they needed Robin, Luffy's crewmember, to translate the Poneglyphs and make copies of it for each of them. The Supernovas were nothing but fill-ins as an attempt to make the race to the One Piece seem more grand than it actually is.
