Among the eight universes present in the Tournament of Power which ones did you support ?

I personnaly rooted for Universe 3 and Universe 11, I also wished that Universe 9 lasted a bit longer and while I did not support them I still had sympathy for U10 thanks to Cuss, Gowasu and Obuni.

None. All the universes hadn't any kind of serious characterization, just try to confront them with the supernovas and see hiw laughable it was.
Agree except Hit or few exceptions we discovered tons of new characters right of the bat without much deepth. It was just a big brawl with power ups right and there and explosions without any stakes. The universes erasure was a joke nobody believes that shit and Zeno is unbearable.

It is one of the worst arc ever in DB.

I'm a bit of an integralist but probably DB should have ended with Namek saga. Eveything after that was to milk the cow more even if the Cell and Buu saga somewhat held the db spirit. GT was a wreckage but at least ssj4 was cool and not a rendering of Goku with different colors. Now these sagas, universes (rip off from dragonball multuverse), old goat guys, what Dragonball was is almost completely forgotten and neglected, just keep going to milk more, it seems a lot what happened to the Simpsins franchise.

Right now you can maybe think that but for me as a child I was hyped a lot by Cell and a little bit by buu. Those arcs could have been a lot better but I remember Gohan going SSJ2 or Majin Vegeta or Cell first appearance, and bad fat buu (fat buu as a bad guy is a lot more creepy and dangerous and threatening for me than other forms), C16 etc.

But I can agree that the Sayan history was not explored a lot after Namek and the plot somewhat began to be basic. But back in the days I liked it a lot and i cannot forget that.

For GT okay it was not perfect (kid goku was terrible idea) but at least this show took risks and I like that. The thing I can reproach to today DB show for the most part is this is they take no risks : for power ups, for the story, for character dev etc. Everything is pretty linear and doesn't shake things.

They had their great moments but sayan and Namek saga were better. If you think about it the story had sense until Frieza who was the mega stellar dictator. After him Cell and Buu were ideas put there cause the saga had to go on given how much money it gave but 1st a guy which is the fusion of the storngest genes and then some kind of invincible magic blob.. Toryama didn't even try too hard to stay on topic. But I agree thinkgs like ssj2 kid Gohan or Vegeta's sacrifice with Buu were good (even if what we wanted and deserved was sayan and Namek saga Vegeta, not good daddy Vegeta).

And I agree strongly on the "no take risk" concept. And the fact that not only Dragonball but also almost every movies swings that way; how many original movies and how many reboots of old ones are being made? Even Star wars is just remaking the same old films but with different actors and slightly different plot.

Yes it spreads to a lot of movies series etc. Disney or other stuff.

I honestly prefer something bad but the movie maker took risks and his ideas were poorly done than an average thing without color or personality

I was sorry for Jiren and his squad when they were ultimately eliminated. I'm sure they were heroes operating for the good overall.
