The moment Luffy vs Kizaru got confirmed, it's over for us anyway since whoever Zoro gets to fight, the Zoro bros who pushes the whole ZKKizaru gets clowned on regardless.
Lucci is a great opponent for Zoro tho based on potrayal (and feats). THe only problem of him is people thought of him as Luffy's leftover so yeah there's that

How so? Zoro easily overwhelmed awakened Kaku, who's now lucci's equal in terms of rank, df status and feat, with casual 2 swords style.
Considering the parallels till now Lucci is 2-3 weeks from getting moneted
First one to (CoC-)fear diff the shit out of a logia (if we don't count Aramaki).
He might become the first one to CoC fear diff an awakened zoan too.

This all depends on how things play out.
We know Zoro doesn't go all-out from the start like Luffy who immediately goes into G5 and falls exhausted after the fact, but this will be a good indication of how close Base Zoro is to G5 Luffy.
I don't think Kizaru is 100% out of the picture for Zoro but the best thing to do right now is wait and see.

Lucci is a great fight for Zoro. The problem was people pushing lucci to above King level and saying Zoro can only fight high/extreme diff.
Imho, Lucci is mid diff material for Zoro. Oda's habit to make unnecessary tension and suspense shouldn't factor / should be ignored on this fight.
Beside, Egghead is like Zou, a small arc between Wano & Elbaf, things shouldn't be too serious & hard.

They're all just a bunch of characters which Oda drew up for them to come here to be defeated, like this arc's equivalent of Tobi Roppo basically. The most notable of them is Doberman.

Well if Oda took his character serious kizaru would have been the option.
Maybe not full fight but at least some exchanged blows before being interrupted .
Showing that he's entering in the top echelons but not there yet.
Between Lucci or VAs neither is satisfactory due them being below his Wano encounter.
I don't expect neither option needing Zoro to dish high lvl ap like he did against king.
I also doubt they are faster than speed mode king.
I guess the only factor that could make a fight is if they have a tricky DF.
But such wouldn't make Zoro progress at all.
I fear of Oda out of sudden make Zoro have a stupid power jump and now he's close to Mihawk level...... ridiculous.

Well, Lucci is only the second enemy of Luffy's to make Luffy go G5 (the obvious first being Kaido) in order to beat (in a mid diff fight). Lucci is also still strong enough to one shot another CP0 member like Stussy even now.
Assuming Zoro can also mid diff Lucci (although I think it will be a lower high diff), I think that is still a good showing for Zoro since that means he is still able to keep up with Luffy's G5 Ws.
Since Kaku and Stussy are out, the VAs are probably going to be taken down by Bonney and the 8 other SHs.
