Landing a shot on Kaido is the most repeated feat in the series, as a swordsman if you got the firepower you can scar him.
Not a lot of people can best Shanks in skill, and for someone as base Teach to do it is kinda bonkers

Shanks is younger than BB and they were both far from their prime selves (which are now) when they fought. While Kaido was already in his prime and same goes for Oden. Also you first need the firepower to even scar him. Only ones who did so far were Oden, Zoro with Oden‘s sword and Luffy who is a Yonkou now and had the crazy powered Nika fruit. Again, the answer is crystal clear here lol.

am not sure why you are telling me to learn to read But I have.
I just know to date, factually no one has shown haki that would would make them as invulnerable to attacks as kaido is with his df . Am not expecting shanks to be able to now , and def not 13 + years ago.

Kaido’s haki was no where near the level it is now when Oden faced him, and even Scabbards can pierce regular dragon scales easy.

Even Kaido on guard still screams out in pain and it doesn’t help that he typically prefers to tank attacks. Shanks as a swordsman has a top tier blade and is actively blocking and parrying, Blackbeard slicing him is nothing to scuff at and is absolutely comparable to Oden overpowering Kaido and scarring him

Shanks today like Kaido is closer to WB and Roger, back then they were in same league. Whitebeard even says Shanks and Mihawk were legendary then when they fought. Same WB never went to Wano because Kaido was also strong and had a country backing him

I would say Kaido is stronger but Shanks was stated to have been having legendary duels with Mihawk at that age by Whitebeard so I’ll take that as they were atleast on the level of Oden who shocked Whitebeard with his strength, making him his brother, not a son.

Still Kaido kept Whitebeard out of Wano sooo

Oden did it at his strongest.

Teach did it at his weakest.
