According to Kaido fans, Kaido didn’t receive his 7 confirmed L’s from the strongest characters in the story (Roger, WB, Xebec, Garp, Sengoku, Ray, Oden, Shanks). So who did he receive them from? Wang Zhi? Silver Axe? Captain John? Bogard?
Narrator said "He has Tasted Defeat as a Pirate on Seven Occasions"
No One ever said that Kaidou was Defeated in a 1v1, this is Headcanon
Kaidou himself said that No One can Beat him, and Narrator adds "If it's 1v1, always Bet on Kaidou"
Meaning He is never known to have Lost a Duel
Losing a War is Defeat
Competing for Something & Failing is Defeat
Losing Crew or Treasure or Land is Defeat
... etc
God's Valley is One of Kaidou's Seven Occasions where He tasted Defeat
Marco for example tasted Defeat in Summit War & Payback War, regardless if He fought 1v1 or not

Who cares? We know literally nothing about it, for all we know they were when Kaido was younger, Luffy has taken plenty of L's himself already.
Also, I find it funny that you hang onto that one statement for dear life when trying to downplay Kaido, but the whole challenging the four emperors with none of them being able to kill him just coincidentally gets ignored, literally verbatim stated that Shanks couldn't kill Kaido.

According to Shanks fans:
"A few people who capable of fighting me" - "A few people who can beat me"
"No one can beat me in this world" - "No one but Shanks can beat me in this world"
"Joy Boy is the only one who can beat me" - "Joy Boy and like 5 other people can beat me"
But yeah, Kaido fans have reading problems, I guess.
Rocks, Roger and Whitebeard surely have defeated him.
Regardless of what Kaido says, he has been confirmed beaten 7 times before.
But since he was younger/if it wasn't a 1v1, he doesn't count it as a 'real' defeat.
