Could have been some Van Augur or Caribou tomfuckery, that's why we were skeptical about it
But yeah I guess it was just Kizaru using his yata mirror thing
To quote something I have written back in the day about this:

...if that was the case, Oda would have solved the mystery at the very same moment VA was presented or at least now, the last time we saw the BBP in EH and the last time we would ever talk about this.

So, instead of thinking that VA was spying on them, did that and then Oda magically forgot to tell us, wouldn't you consider that maybe was one that:

- was there (confirmed, not theories)
- was seen moving after the food was delivered;
- was worried about Bonney and Sentomaru the second before;
- had "..." after the food was delivered;
- used his own ramen bowl;
- Is probably the fastest character in the verse;
- and probably Is going to appear next chapter?
VA was possibile until he arrived and went anyway and it wasn't even hinted at it, imho.

It's probably black but I only doubt it because the anime and some figurines and what not weirdly decided to make it white and it was never even corrected
Yeah, I can understand.

Imho the anime has way less contacts than we imagine (as seen with Peter's hair) and so they have actually pulled out a smart move: they created a sheat. I have posted in the past images that showed how Ryo's "sword" don't in fact look like a sword at all: no central line, no grease, etc. It looks like a sheat, very much.

You see, they will have him just unsheate his sword when the time is right and puff, no problem.

Imho, this should have been plenty:

This also means Kizaru really was holding back. :shocked:

He should just straight out said it was Kizaru or Sanji also moves at speed of light? Hmmm. :kriwhat:

Check the dish on the left side of Luffy and the dish Kizaru is using for eating. Foreshadowing.
Cup has the same design, he probably stole them from the marine ship.

C'mon, we should've used the simple process of deduction.

Occam's razor (or Ockham's razor) is a principle from philosophy. Suppose an event has two possible explanations. The explanation that requires the fewest assumptions is usually correct. Another way of saying it is that the more assumptions you have to make, the more unlikely an explanation.

Kizaru doing it was the simple explanation. Everything else had a complex idea attached to it such as Caribou appearing which necessitated that he had previously stolen food supplies and then coincidentally happened to be in the area when Luffy required the food.

How many assumptions did we have to make to consider Caribou?

1. We assume Caribou previously stole food.
2. We assume Caribou had been watching the fight.
3. We assume Caribou had an incentive to help Luffy.
4. We assume Caribou was able to deliver the food without being seen.

That's at least four assumptions. Whereas, with Kizaru, we only had to convince ourselves that he would act contrary to his previous statements.
