General & Others Who has The Most Replaceable Role in the Strawhats?

If not for Usopp Nami would still be trying to box Yonko executives with a wooden stick

Not to mention he was responsible for all of the repairs on the Going Merry and was the defacto shipwright before Franky got there

If we’re talking about their literal role on the crew (navigator, shipwright, sniper, etc) and nothing outside of that idk Usopp still wouldn’t be at the bottom

The fuck do they need a musician for? Brook doesn’t actually use his profession for anything useful

He is useful because his fruit is absurd and he’s fairly smart but that goes outside of his role as a crew musician

I would understand the importance of musicians as a morale-booster, like imagine if Brook increased the Strawhats will to fight by dropping some banger epic music in the climax fight of an arc.

But mostly that part of him is irrelevant except for entertainment, Brook himself is just really helpful when Oda focuses on him though.

How useful a strawhat is in fulfilling their roles ,
How much does zoro follow his role as a combatant , what has he done to prove his worth ?
example for this - beating the main villain’s top subordinate during their arc like king , mr 1 , kaku , pica etc .
And even outside of that , he has fought multiple strong individuals
- kaido and bigmom , lucci , s-hawk , venusjuro, gyabban etc.

That was my point that someone like Law could have replaced Zoro here. He is just a combatant and YOU measure him based on feats.
Looking at that: Usopp defeated Perona and was of a great help, He sniped Sugar and saved the entirety of the toys in Dressrosa. That's feats and they don't really matter in this discussion, this is not exclusively about combat now.

A JOAT is a Jack of all Trades, and that makes Usopp kinda useful, alongside his other perks.
Really, Usopp is also replaceable for sure, but just looking at the aspects of being a strong figure in the crew, you could replace Zoro kinda easily. I don't think that Usopp is that easily replaceable factoring in the whole Sogeking stuff, it only worked because Usopp is Usopp.

In direct comparison Usopp has more to offer beyond just being a sniper. He is a craftsman who also makes his own weapons, or weapons for the crewmates.

To be fair historically the musician was the most sought after crewmate in pirate crews. Pirates would prioritize stealing musicians over treasure after all.
