The fact that Imu fears both Davy Jones and Joyboy, and both wanted to be king at some point tells us they’re either the same person or they were competing for the same spot.

You know who else is competing with Luffy for the king title? Yeah, Teach.

Loki is just another side character, think of Yamato for example. I doubt Loki even overtakes guys like Kid in terms of relevance
