Controversial Who is more controversial for their own respective series' fanbases? Sasuke or Zoro?

From my experience, a lot of this is just powerscaling though. No one legitimately hates Zoro apart from the most extreme Sanjitards. Mfs hated Sasuke's very character and existence

People get annoyed at Zoro fans because they go to extremes to justify absurd PLs or theories.

People hated Sasuke because they couldn’t understand his motivation and sucked Naruto’s cock.

I hate Sasuke for his unbearable attitude, the plot armor, his fanbase and his face. I couldn't care less about his motivation.

I like Zoro, I just prefer Sanji by a long margin. I dislike some Zoro fans.

Never cared for Midruto and wasnt a part of the fandom at the time. In OP fandom it seems that in terms of fanbase Zoro fans are fighting against every other fanbase at the same time, mostly due to PL.

Idk, I didnt read Naruto weekly while it was being published nor did I participate in discussions among fans.

But the kind of discussions you see around Zoro & his dream especially (both for & against) is kinda crazy ngl. No other OP character generates anything close to that.

I didn't try to justify anything, simply stated my Opinion & that was End of it.
Calling Zoro Deuteragonist or simply a Character doesn't change the Fact that i believe Zoro & Sasuke are handled differently.
Changing your Stance however from talking about Two Fictional Characters to talking about Me personally is still very Sad though, i'm here to talk about a Manga, not you or him or her.

For Sasuke, people complained about the character itself. The question should've had Itachi or Sakura, which would've eclipsed Zoro.

For Zoro, people hate his fanbase because of power levels.

The reason there’s even a debate around whether Shanks is a swordsman is because of Zoro hatred. Yes, Zoro is the most popular OP character but he also has the most haters.

I was too young to follow Naruto weekly but I highly doubt Sasuke had the fanbase throwing common sense out of the window like that. In 2025, I see more discourse about the controversy around Itachi than Sasuke anyways.

Zoro is not controversial outside powerscaling discussions. I'd argue even within the crew Sanji and weaklings are more controversial.

Lol, please ask yourself WHY Zoro fans are constantly fighting against every other fanbase. Maybe it is because a majority of them come up with exaggerated BS when it comes to Zoro's PL and everything revolved around him, even freaking Hyozou?!

As for the thread, ofc Sasuke is more controversial to his respective verse. That's not even remotely comparable.
