General & Others Who is Oda writing the story for

Oh, those are valid points (some are a bit exagerated) but still valid.
But we all know that 99% of the crying is for ZKK headcanon. But people don't care that he fought Kaido and put aside his pride to defend the SNs and thanks to his gestures Kaido was taken down.
This is what is sad. Zoro instead of searching the glory defended hia captain and the others, and guess what, this gave them time to recover and in the end win.
Zoro had a total win, but since he didn't cut kaido head fanboys are crying.
ZKK was only the culmination of the number of plot threads. It was popular because it pretty much could have solved every thread with the assistance of maybe half a page's info dump.

And it would all go over well if Zoro didn't kill him in the end but had sufficient screen time to address these things. Or a generally larger purpose within the story. At Thriller Bark Sanji made a point to mention how it would make Luffy feel if he found out Zoro threw himself in as a sacrifice for him. On the rooftop, he pays no attention to Zoro's injury and ends up getting saved after goofing around and eating Ragnarok. Turns out that Luffy would never actually give a shit what happens to Zoro, and that's bad storytelling. ZKK is just a smokescreen of an argument for that.

You make a good point, i don't really have much to answer.
The fact hat Luffy doesnt care it's a bit of a stretch imho though.

Well, he was angry about Kinemon getting beat up and Zoro was hurt worse. All of the reactions came from Law. It's just another layer at this point, that Zoro's role isn't quite relevant. He accomplished arguably less than Inuarashi, who led the minks where Zoro didn't lead the samurai. The Killer he defeated earlier turned into an ally, but not because of the interaction with Zoro contributing and apparently all that talk from Kozaburo about Enma needing to kill went nowhere.
