Questions & Mysteries Who is ready for Admiral Koby?

#22
I always theorized that Koby was the orange admiral, especially after it was revealed that GB and Fuji were former criminals turned marines who ignore Sakazukis order and thats exactly what Koby is too.

And look at all the orange haki and effects the anime gave him for HI out of nowhere. Could have been EPIC anime foreshadowing like Dragons DF?

He would also fit the logia-parameica-zoan triangle since there's nothing more rare that a honest man acoc user in the marines. And considering that he's literally one powerup away from Prime Garp I think it's time to stop coping about Woby:myman:

Why are you guys do against it?
Everyone from new gen bar Teach is gonna be top tier at the age of 19-26
Luffy is already yonko level at 19

Koby being the youngest admiral at 18 will happen
He's meant surpass Garp
Because Koby is not Luffy, he isn't a prodigy.

Koby is and has always been a product of ok talent and very, very hard work.

He started several tiers below Luffy and while he has an admirable growth rate due to his work ethic, it still pales compared to Luffy's growth rate.

Koby simply needs way more time to get to this level.

Even Luffy - who is leagues ahead of Koby - just recently reached "admiral level" in Wano due to his broken DF.

Oda would throw any remaining inner-manga logic out of the window, if now freakin Koby of all people reached that level in a few months (inner-manga time).

he started dramatically below luffy. koby in the first few chapters was below luffy as a child in the jungle. his growth rate is literally faster

Luffy will be God tier at eos, so Koby reaching admiral level at final war isn't a huge problem as long as he gets CoC & a df

It really isn't.

Yes, he started dramatically below Luffy, but right now he's arguably even more below current Luffy than he was back then.

Remember that Koby is nowhere near Kaido level and even a Luffy that clapped Katakuri and Doflamingo (both characters who would toy with current Koby despite his growth) was fodder against Kaido.

G5 literally boosted Luffy's power x10 at least and that's a conservative estimate.

All Koby has shown so far is solid haki mastery (no CoC btw) and one ability that resembles the King Punch from Elizabello.

That's it. Right now that's not even VA material.

Sure, let's just grant Koby fan fiction powerups that clearly don't fit his character at all.

He is literally the opposite of an emperor and was a massive coward to begin with. CoC is a power that only a very small fraction of the bravest and most daring people by nature (!) have from birth on. It makes zero sense from a writing perspective that Koby has it.

A DF would also devalue his whole character arc so far (achieving this much without any shortcuts, but simply due to super hard work).

This way I could argue that Nami will be God tier by the end of the series if Oda just gave her CoC, her own DF ability and a solid training arc. Makes just as much sense.

People who can't read are killing this fanbase lol.

Garp: he's my protege. He's my successor. Kobys potential is above anyone I've ever trained

Fanbase: but alvida was fat and scared him
And now the situation Is even worse imho.
Before EH It was clear, but not explicit; now it's clearly stated:

Koby even unlocked CoC (imho), at at the very least AdvCoA, + Garp's move. It's crystal clear and in fact more, It's stated he will be ons of the big figures of the last arc.

Oda literally put Koby with Akainu, BB, Imu and the likes, he had him Say again he Is going to fight Luffy, but no sir lol.

Someone here like to be disappointed, clearly.

franky one shot a vice admiral with a single robot punch. you could line up 50 vice admirals behind honesty impact and koby would one shot all of them in a row

Coby is old story. At best he is gomma reach the rank of Vice Admiral.

And yet, he wont be the strongest.

Coby was way behind Luffy, at Marineford he was 1 shotted by Gearless Luffy if I aint wrong.

If bothe grew at the same rate. Which I doubt, at Dresrossa Coby still is a 1 shot, which is Vet level IMO.

With this PU, Coby is around Yc3 IMO. Unless he gets the same powerup as Sanji, he aint being top tier in some few years, he might be politically important, but not power wise.

Another case of "nah, Koby Is in the double spread of the most improntat players for OP just for...mistake by Oda".

In fact, Koby was show even in the D. spread (talking about Garp).
