100%. I love scars too, I have one on my hand from a severe accident as a child and its become something of a symbol of respect on what I survived, rather than just something that deeply traumatised me for most of my life too. Scars tell a lot of stories and add a lot to a character and thus it does to Shanks and is part of the reasons why I like him too.

Shanks is the OG and way more charistmatic too, he had a GOD tier glowup from the beginning, although I kinda miss how goofy and even more unkempt he looked back then too.

Shanks has more aura. And his casual fit makes him look carelessly good, unlike Shamrock who is trying. Like, Shanks can sacrifice an arm and run around with some shorts and sandals and still look spot on. He doesn't need to impress with a fancy costume.

Original is always superior. The scar is too iconic and his charisma/personality makes Shanks more likeable overall and even more physically attractive
