Oden. Forced down readers' throats with the cringy devotion to him by other side characters and how everyone is suddenly in love with him. The plot events integrated into his backstory which made him look like a complete and utter fool? Needs its own thread.
2nd and 3rd place goes to Meme and Kaido respectfully who despite being the overarching antagonists of the entire post timeskip with both having a dedicated arc, still had the character development of a cockroach with random villain traits. They would have been at first place if it wasn't for Oden's naked dance.
Yah i agree, Oden's writing really felt kinda forced. And i didn't like his character/personality either. I only began to feel a bit better for him after his death, but my opinion of him still hasn't changed.
I hate him obviously but his whole purpose is to be hated by the audience so I view it differently I guess? Whereas the other characters are more annoying to me because oda expects me to like them
