My guess for why is BBP is because we saw Lafitte surveing it the last time we saw him + i would find it mad weird if the revolutinoary attack mary joa with all their commands not even that long ago, be it real time or in manga time (its less than a 2 years ago in Real time i believe) to just do the same shit again
