That has to be Captain John or Wang Zhe, both were mentioned in the bounty chapter as big names who sprouted off the Rocks crew. Though I would like to think one of them was defeated by Shanks as he was rising through the ranks to become a yonko. We know he didn't do it like Luffy is doing it (attacking the existing emperors) so there must have been fairly notorious pirates still around for him to use stepping stones.

I thought it was SilverAxe/Wank yesterday but after re-thinking It's probably Captain John. He might made his own name after GV incident hence his treassure is well-known till now (Buggy interested to find it).

I don't think so though I think that Shakky and Bakkins were members of the crew too though far from being as powerful and known as the other legendary members of the crew who became Yonkos or still very famous pirate captains.
