He had the strongest crew to


But WSS ? Rayleigh is confirmed that he wasnt since he s only known as the rhm of roger and dark king

Oden was to confirmed he wasnt since he s only known for being wb s 2nd commander

Was it roger? Was that the reason he was at his execution?the reason he fought shanks multiple times bcs he uses his style?
He s waiting for someone stronger than "shanks" since shanks never reached roger s level that means mihawk is waiting for a roger level swordsman

Rogers a strong possibility but he may have a power beyond his swordplay since Roger’s swordplay didnt even make Whitebeard use his fruit.

Shikis a good possibility, two powerful swords that he refused to abandon in Impel Down and fought Sengoku and Garp 2v1

Or it’s a new characrrr we never met

Maybe none.

At a time I believe only one strongest Reigns. Not Multiple.

WSM , WSC , WSS. These titles never existed at the same time.

- WSM , Whitebeard was way past his prime yet held the title.
- WSC , Kaidou peak around 40s , 50s , now he's decline obviously Started. People think this was peak kaidou but I doubt.
- WSS , Currently Mihawk is 43. His peak.
And he said to zoro he would be waiting for zoro at the top. So he will probably keep the title until Zoro takes it.

- I'm not gonna go inside the cope of , WSM only involves man , WSC only includes little animals , WSS Only includes Swordsman. It's simply there types or main Arsenal.
- Paramacia types are usually called "Something"-man. Luffy was Rubber man, Mr.3 was called Wax Man. And so on. Whitebeard carried the strongest Paramacia fruit.
- WSC is basically the Zoan fruit. Kaidou had the strongest one. And he was strongest during his Era , So title was changed from WSM to WSC.
- WSS is basically the one wielding the strongest Weapon right now , which is Yoru , World strongesy Weapon which Mihawk Forged. Given Current Strongest is Swordsman so title became WSS.

Xebec probably was a DF user or Swordsman nobody knows.

And Great Pirate Era started with roger and WB.

Before that Xebec majorly Dominated I believe. So I don't think so they had the Title issued at that time.

And before that Giants dominated most probably.

Well, why hasn't oda mentioned the former WSS at all then?

Either it's someone we already know and oda doesn't care to mention it, or its someone that hasn't been introduced and oda doesn't care to mention them. Or there was no wss before and its a title oda made up specifically for zoro and mihawk.

It was probably a Marine Admiral who Mihawk beat in the past, as it's revealed in SBS Vol. 108 that he held a grudge against someone in the marines. It could've been Rayleigh further in the past, but since he retired from piracy, they probably considered the title "vacant". Also, the title could've been created for Mihawk especifically... we know that there were similar titles in the past (e.g.: Ryuma's "God of the Blade"), but I don't think that every generation needs to have a WSS.

Each Generation has their World Strongest title.

It would seem the other generations there wasn’t anyone worthy of the world strongest title similarly no one being able to awaken the Gomu Gomu.

I believe the title isn’t measly handed out it needs to be unanimous across the OP world, if there is ambiguity you’re not worthy of a World Strongest title.

Old Gen - WB (World Strongest Paramecia, Supreme Blade)
Mid Gen - Mihawk - (World Strongest Sword, Supreme blade)
New Gen - Zoro - (Future 3 swords supreme blades ?)
