If I remember right when Zoro used shusui for the first time on Oars he said that it enhanced the strength of the slash or something like that I need to re read that
Not to mention that they put all the emphasis on Enma that she drains your Haki and uses more than necessary while nothing was said about ame no....

i personally dont think his 7 defeats necessarily came from 7 different people. He could've challenged Rocks or WB few times in his rocks era. Based on what we know and him seeking pleasure in battles, he isnt the type to give up entirely after a loss.
And even then, we know eventually none of those 7 losses left any scar on his body. The only one able to do it was Oden, who was only managed to scar, not defeat him.

isnt zoro just said shusui just heavy on the slash,

well with drain haki it just make user weaker and to make it balance the user need to get stronger so its just oden who can hurt him beside mihawk said any swords can become black blade (depends on user)

well i just think with his hoby to suicide he always search top fighter when he got defetead but not killed he search another

i mean we only know that from hiyori who live in wano and she kinda wrong about the only scar casue ame no habakiri hurt him too so i think that statement kinda ambiguous

oh yeah with only scar i think its wrong the other people who defeat him leave scar too but not visible for example shanks said he got many scars from either adventure or many duels with mihawk but only one we can see is from BB and east blue sea monster

Also the whole alliance is planning on fighting kaido thats why they're all going through the work of avoiding fighting now. Thats why zoro said that

Clearly showing your comprehension abilities there but zoro was not talking about the whole alliance there. He was very clearly talking about him and luffy not taking too much damage before they fight kaido. Even last chapter shows luffy and zoro avoiding fights as they charge toward kaido.

Luffy and zoro were the only ones going off the plan (from their knowledge) when they starting fighting and taking damage. So yeah he said we as in him and luffy.

The whole alliance is planning on fighting kaido tho. Again that's why the alliance is trying so hard to achieve everyone and conflicts in general so much so they can meet up with kaido.

No one is actively planning to take anyone out other than kaido, orochi, and maybe big mom.
No one is thinking about fighting apoo, the calamities, tobi roppo, etc
They're all after kaidos head
