btw, Shanks is dying against BB, so he won't fight anyone in the final war.

I don't think he needs to die. BB already is responsible for ace's death and BB may end up being EOS villain.

Die or imprisoned maybe, but BB desperately needs some big hype that puts in the final villain terriory and the hyper-overhyped Shanks and his crew are perfect for that. Also they are difficult to manage and he and BB have history.
