tbh i cant see Kizaru going down at EggHead and if he is i doubt it will be Zoro who beats him. I think he needs one or two more arcs to be able to take down an Admiral. Best case they will have a skirmish but neither of them will receive damage.

I think Zoro is ready for everyone.

His logic is off there because of the way he treats the term underlings like a blanket statement. But his understanding that Admirals are not akin to Yonkou commanders, is where you are lost.

4 Admirals are counterparts to the 4 Yonkou. It's not just some coincident that the WG makes sure 4 of these positions are filled for both the Navy world and the Pirate world. Even Erkan begrudgingly understands this which is why he says underlings can't take them on, even if he is wrong.

BB already has Aokiji and Shiryu as underlings who are Admirals levels. WB had Oden, Roger had Rayleigh.

Characters like Ray/Benn and EoS Zoro are not your typical YC.

I know some people dont like it and thats ok but their portrayal is totally different from guys like Marco/Kata/King.
