I don't believe in the Marco vs King fight.

Oda usually writes fights where the good guy is a bit of an underdog and has to overcome the situation to win. Here Marco is almost unanimously viewed as stronger than King or at least it won't surprise anyone that Marco will win.

Except if it is said that Marco grew weaker since Teach fight or if King is said to have beaten Marco in the past I don't see this fight happening.

Oda needs to hype King and against Marco it will be a problem.

Katakuri was all over the place in wcl, everyone feared him/big mom, now in wano, everyone tells king to stfu, the flying six/Queen/Sanji, random fodders. Even tho Katakuri wasnt great also, this just shows how bad king is.
He keeps talking about momo, but all he does is to stay in the background.

Zoro will open Kaidou's wound, get confronted by King (which turns into a full-blown fight) as Kaido & Big Mom vs Luffy & everyone else, defeat King, and then kill Kaido after Luffy finally overpower the WSC.

If Zoro is teaming Kaido, then logically Sanji will fight King.

Marco isn't fighting anyone, he's taken a backseat and supporting the "heavy hitters" since he's arrived. Oda doesn't want him taking the spotlight of the new generation.
