We'll see, even if some strawhats lose, I expect it to not be permanently. This is the arc where they all grow to the big leagues imo. We haven't had an instance were the Strawhats lose without returning the favor

Same. I think 998/999 is Act 3's ending. 1000/1001 can cover the mid-Act updates, then follow back to Act 4 in 1002 or something. 40-50 chapters sounds good, especially if includes Kaido/Yamatos flashback and the setups to the major battles +the battles themselves
