What does all this have anything to do with Sanji never once commanding anyone to attack a woman in history of One Piece? It's fundamental to him. Sanji has never, and will never directly command anyone to attack a woman, much less a beautiful one. That's just not his character.

This never even happened in Manga. Sanji never said anything to Zoro about Tashigi regarding before Monet fight. Zoro and Tashigi started tagging and Sanji silently went off alongside rest of G5.

But man, it's kinda desperate to try and pretend random shittalks regarding women are commands when Sanji does that to everyone, including Luffy lol. That's just Sanji being Sanji and insulting people and demanding they don't hurt women or keep them safe. He'd do that to one he would consider his leader, and to even downright strangers.

  • After Luffy went to fight Crocodile. He was the one who took charge and decided their next course of action immediately
  • During Thriller Bark vs Oars, he led literally every single one into a combined assault
  • Literally the last chapter
Just to name two off of my head. You can like Sanji however you want and wank his powers and I don't really care all that much, but canonically Zoro has been called closest to Vice Captain, #2 of crew just like Rayleigh, and whatnot by Oda in official sources for a reason.

You've called Zoro VC-alike and RHM before anyway. So dunno why you're opposed to the idea of Zoro being de-facto in-charge in most circumstances if he's present while Luffy isn't. That's how it usually goes too, anyway.
Oars example is bad considering sanji led them Into battle and did the most damage against oars. Sanji showcased himself as having the best feats that arc besides nightmare luffy

Try again.

I'll have to reread alabasta. I'm a little fuzzy on that but I'll take your word for it.

Zoro is the rhm. Doesn't mean he's a good leader of the crew. He's the rhm who's main attribute is combat. Sanji leads better. Always has. Left hand man duty also.

I don't think Sanji did most damage, but I'm not talking about that. Sanji can have the best feat in Oars fight and even ahead of Luffy, but the point still remains that it was Zoro who actually led the Strawhats into battle, emphasized upon the entire chapter.

From a merit PoV, I think Sanji has always been better at social stuff and taking care of the crewmmates, looking after them and their safety while Zoro has been more towards making just making blunt decisions when needed (even if others don't support him) and looking after Luffy ig. But that's subjective.

Wasn't sanji the first one in? Didn't sanji take the lead and 1v1 Oars?

Sure zoro was with the sh when they went to attack Oars but sanji took the initiative.

I'll view it as a co leading moment at best. You can't recognize zoros aspect without recognizing sanjis contributions.

Nah, Sanji didn't have a leading or intiative moment vs Oars. Oars just happened to land in front of him of all people, threw an attack which Sanji dodged, did a kick, then got thrown into a building. It was a cool solo moment, but that's it.

Others were just watching from afar, commenting on how Oars can stretch, and when they realized Sanji is about to die, Usopp went in to save him then others jumped in. They didn't join immediately 'cuz they were in buildings. No one was leading a charge at the start of it, they were all just fighting.

A couple chapters later, this is what I'm referring to when I say Zoro led the crew:

Took the command and decided their course of action, was clearly emphasized as the figure leading in this scene

And just before, in combat, Zoro was the one who took charge of the crew and led them, directing them all the while:

Sanji has had his leadership moments, but Oars fight was definitely Zoro's.
