Well, you could argue that Zoro's character got "destroyed" at the end of Wano where Oda skipped most of the plotlines.

Anyway, I don't expect Oda to explore any of the Strawhats' character right now so they're safe for now......

Zoro is probably ruined maybe because of idea of people wanting sh to belong to some good bloodlines. Or some connection and we havnt much explored much into Zoro past. And at this i won't be suprised is oda has no plans for it.
Like i remember counting days when raid started in wano and everyone expected a flashback for kaido but best we got was he went to McDonald's when he was hungry.

Oda probably had plans for zoro in wano but scraped all of it. zoro had no plot in wano at all, he just beat king... no revenge no samurai army, no history, no motivation.... Oda wanted to make luffy into messiah so Zoros story had to be cut... like we got more of Sanji, we will get more of Robin and Ussop, But maybe Oda just hates Zoro since he won popularity poll

I think he just lost it while he was fighting those sword monkeys, probably the strongest one. It would be interesting if he had some sort of power there but I doubt it. What would it be? a Sharingan??
