2+ decades of OP and this is the climax.

Very profound and developed character, indeed
:saden:
Yeah he is what's that supposed to prove? The point that oda potrays him in different situations and emotions is the evidence he cares more about him

Can't expect to understand that from people Stan the sbsed one or character with the "..." Personality tho who oda made cry over yasuie the whole arc to forget about him:Luffy_Roll:

Both have great development but I'd say this goes to Sanji for now since Zoro never really had a whole arc to himself to prove how much he's grown and what not. WCI allowed Sanji to have moments like him standing on the table while he saved his blood family despite all the wrong they've done to him (bar Reiju ofc). So far Zoro doesn't really have a lot of moments like that.

The only situation and emotion sanji is generally potrayed in is toxic submission bordering to sexual harrasment towards any breathing individual with xx chromosomes, mate.
Even on Elbaf. Zori had much more screentime, his bloodthirst meme, his intervention with luffy after noticing odd behavior, moments with Loki.

Meanwhile, the parallel leech:

Even luffy, the one dimensional retard, had more depth considering his secret plan, his stupid jimbei introduction

On a surface level, one will think Sanji. But if you take the time to read the story, you will see that it is Zoro.

WCI gave more depths to Sanji yes, but the character did not develop that much. Sanji at the beginning of the timeskip and Sanji now are the exact same character except for the fact that he is able to ask women for help.

On the contrary, the stoic attitude of Zoro that people complained about is a development that comes from his training from Mihawk. Whose character rub on Zoro. But we still see that there is different shades to that. Zoro is not just Mihawk doppelgagber he is himself but he changed because he understand the magnitude of what they are trying to accomplish. Which have been highlight several times during the post timeskip.
An other example is Zoro giving himself a epithet (cringe or not) is him showing that he found a way to cultivate his own kingly ambition and his desire to protect his captain/crew.
During the manga Zoro goes from « My dream his more important than anything » to « My dream is meaningless if I cannot protect my captain/crew » to « Fulfilling my dream is a must for my captain to realize his ».
In pre-timeskip Zoro think that his dream his apart of Luffy’s dream, in other words that neither of them need the other to fulfill their dreams. Post timeskip he realized/accepted that they need each other to fulfill their respective dreams.
That is why the « I will never lose » call back does not have the same weight. In the pre-timeskip it is a egoist claim (i cannot lose again because if i do I will failed me), in the post timeskip it is collective claim (I cannot lose again because of i do I will failed us).

Sanji not only has he gotten just as much physical development as Zoro if not more he got much more personal development, in story development at that we know his family, his upbringing his situation

All we know ablut Zoro is his family is from wano and they weren't even important enough to be in the main story
