Here a thread about WsW and Jimbe.

How those two met ? What were WsW relationship with Jimbe in the past and what happened between them ?

WsW is 38 and Jimbe 46. Jimbe became a warlord at 34 I think. When WsW saw him he was already a warlord so Jimbe was not a rookie anymore and already quite strong.

But when Jimbe was 34, WsW was 26 so maybe in the beginning of his pirate life.

I think he defeated him in the past but after that Who's Who got his devil fruit and joined Kaido thats why Jinbei didn't recognize him maybe Kaido gave him the devil fruit the same goes for his subordinates they look like smile users I mean most of them

They must have had a confrontation several years before when Who's Who was a rookie. Jinbei may have defeated WW or Jinbei did meet Who's Who while they had a common foe though Jinbei didn't learn his name and saw his unmasked face.

Why not both? Someone both we and Jinbe know already.

Who's Who in not an already known character for us but Jimbe already knows him. WW says that he knows him from his Warlord days, this means that they met after Fisher Tiger death.
My 2 guesses are:
- They met due to some Governament shit (WW is a CP0)
- They met as pirates
I'm leaning toward the second option, since WW has a large crew under him and I would expect a CP0 agent to work alone especially if undercover. I thought that Drake too had a crew (he is a SWORD captain) but we haven't seen them since Wano started

This is my favorite option and the most plausible one too

In all seriousness, I'm averse to former character reveals. Outside of obvious situations, when emotional payoff is strong (Sabo, Koala, etc). Overdone, it imprints the verse with a sense of "small world". For One piece to achieve its purpose, it needs to continue introducing a ton of new characters and islands. Expansion of cast, lore and geography almost every chapter is essential.

So, I expect him to be a completely new character from a reader's perspective. Even if he and Jinbei had a previous encounter.

Either way, Who's Who is one of the swaggiest badasses we've seen in a while. The absolute drip of this man

Brannew had made a note to Sengoku that many prisoners had indeed escaped (other than the BB pirates)
