Kaidou's flaming dragon was not destroyed immediately, it shocked equally, and was even seen dominating Luffy's attack and making him scream in pain, only after Kaidou's resistance was exhausted did Luffy manage to overcome it.

Now come on, Kaidou thinks that Shanks is capable of facing him since Shanks is in his TOP 5, but not of defeating him, because if Kaidou thought that Shanks was capable of beating him he wouldn't have made the statement that NOBODY in the world is capable of beating him, Kaidou's statement generalizes (includes) everyone.

Big Mom and Kaido never displayed such feats nor do they have haki hype or portrayal Shanks has . And worst of all they already had their on panel fights , they got defeted so no future chance to show such feats.
