Because Rayleigh is of the Gold medalists while The LoLko are of the Silver medalists, diffrent levels
Meh, Plot nonsense is the fact Crydo don't have means to read Ponyglyph even when we know there are people who know to read them at Wano, i.e. Oden

simple question, how many crew they should bring to capture him ?
too few = less power = more chance to fail
even if they win probably will need some time (days maybe), long fight will cause marine to interrupt
too many = they will draw marine attention, probably they have to fight the marines instead of him..
and also leaving their base open, other yonko will notice their movement and attack their base (or raid them instead after they beat ray)
then.. the possible result,
- they lose to ray, come home injured or dead
- they lose to ray, and their home got attacked
- they are winning, but ray escapes
- they won, but got ambushed by other group or marines
- they won, ray dies (fight to death or suicide after losing)
- they won, ray captured but not saying anything / or tell them false info / or ray told them they still need all 4 RP)
- they won, and somehow ray tell them anything
