Why did luffy not restart his heart? his crew are clearly in danger. It is canon that fluffy can resart his heart after running out of g5 and go back into g5, so why did fluffy not do it?

Luffy can survive alone aafyer g4 and g5 --> vs Katakuri, Kaido if he has no ally around

This is just Oda stalling to have Luffy get up and save Bonney

Him going G5 twice in less than 24 hours does seem to add some tax on his body. He really doesn't know how to be efficient.

Luffy is too strong and Oda needs the plot to move.

Because there's a chance he'll die if he does it, so it's an absolute last resort thing, he didn't have a choice against Kaido, it was either do it or die, but here he at least has crewmates capable of protecting him.

Really this shows how much faith Luffy has in his crew

If he could go Gear 5 again, he would have done so already because his friends are in-danger.

It’s the same reason that Oda emphasized the limit: to temporarily put Luffy out of commission for the exposition. The fight will continue afterwards.

Considering how close to death he was against Kaido there's is no reason why he shouldn't have been able to. He and Kizaru will probably get back up at some point. SH's are in trouble right now. That or somebody else shows up to save their butts. Like what are the chances that the guy with the burnt scar shows up to help them?
