Questions & Mysteries Why did Nobody reach Lodestar before Roger?

#2
Not even Rocks apparently

Was this ever explained?
I dont think thats the issue. Roger was just the first person to understand that Lodestar was not the end and that 4 RPs were needed via his VoAT because he could loosely interpret poneglyphs that way (according to Rayleigh).

At least this is how i understand it, correct me if im wrong if it mentions hes actually the first.

Maybe the One Piece treasure wasn't a thing back then prior Roger becoming PK, few pirates believe it so that's why nobody cares that much about it.
And Roger was the one that took it seriously by following every hints, while Roger being a pirate for seeking freedom and adventure.
Other pirates orient for the classic piracy and couldn't careless about adventure.

So in 750+ years no pirate was curious enough to go to the last island?

Interesting that Roger reached Lodestar in the same year that the God valley incident happened :memehm:

Maybe Xebec told him how to get there

Nvm God Valley was 38 years ago not 39
Roger vs Rocks happened a year after that

But maybe the two incidents are related

And maybe Roger's accomplishment is what caused Rocks to go apeshit and attack God's Valley out of jealousy

Because reaching the end of the grand line is not easy. We might think it’s easier nowadays but that’s because Roger encouraged people to do so, so that just increased the number of strong pirates going after that goal
Oda is a huge fan of the Age of Exploration so Maybe the Log Pose is a recent invention, just like how the Americas were only discovered when the Chinese brought The 🧭 to Arabs and Europeans
