Nah, I always had the highest opinion of Whitebeard. But even back then when it was teased Whitebeard shared ranks with a couple of others beneath another individual (Xebec), it left a bad taste. And that's when we still assumed Whitebeard was far from his peak and possibly lacked his DF.

With the recent flashback, Whitebeard farmed quite a couple of Ls. Unnecessarily.

The excuse for WB really is that he went to go save Rayleighs girlfriend, with Whitebeard presumably sitting in the cuck chair while they have sex, or he went to get Crydo a devil fruit he would use to kill WB´s friend.......

WB was on his way saving shakky and got blocked by roger then nowhere to be found when ray saved her. Not sure you would consider that a W tbh, his objective failed
