Speculations Why didn’t Carmel think Linlin could become a HK?

#1
Carmel believed that if the WG got their hands on Linlin, she could easily be groomed into becoming a member of CP0, an Admiral, or even Fleet Admiral

But why didn’t Carmel believe Linlin could become a God’s Knight?

I already know some of you will say “But Shiroyru, Linlin couldn’t become a HK because she’s a CD!” And for that, I’d point you to Loki (got invited despite not being a CD) and Gunko (no Saint title or surname, so probably not a natural born CD either).

So we know it would be possible for BM to join the HKs despite not being a natural born CD if the CDs deemed her useful enough, yet Carmel didn’t even consider her joining the HKs to be a possibility. As @Elder Lee Hung and @kurwa will tell you, the HKs are known by everyone and their grandma, so it’s impossible that Carmel didn’t mention the HKs because she was simply unaware of them. Therefore, the only logical conclusion is that Carmel just didn’t believe that Linlin had enough potential strength to become a HK.

Being a HK comes with the highest privileges, it's not something you just dish out if you can avoid it. Convincing Loki to join along with the giant race would've been easier granting him HK status. Linlin on the other hand was just a kid, so grooming her into becoming a weapon for the WG would've been enough, you don't need to give her such a high CD rank to bait her.

The point also was to make her a weapon, a shield for the CD, the HK aren't weapons or soldiers of the CD, they are basically the highest ranked CD to begin with (only beneath the elders and Imu).

HK are the latest additions in the story, and its just a year ago.
It's a question if Oda already have plans for them way before or it's just last second thought.
But whatever the reason would be, Oda wouldn't reveal them at the time of WCI in a backstory (even if HK are already a thing in his mind)

For your answers
Sommers and Gillingham think the Yonko as a huge deal (with Gunko also aware of Yonko Luffy in earlier chap)
A legit Yonko lvl on the same tier as Shamrock lil bro like Linlin would be more than enough for HK job.
Carmel might not have known HK too.
It's not confirmed that HK are globally known to the world
Saul knows them because he is VA,
And Robin that one person who should know.... doesn't give the vibe that she had info on them

Mother Carmel was just a scammer and tried to get as much money as she could from WG.
She knew very well that Big Mom would never reach the position of Admiral/FA but she wouldn't be alive to face the consequences.

Meme has the potential to become even Fleet Admiral, unlike Ryokugyu who can only become Fleet Admiral fanboy :josad:

She’s clearly not a natural born CD since she has no Saint title or family name given. So she was probably a commoner elevated to CD and HK.
It has to be for a good reason ImO. She could be a bastard that’s legitimized.

Linlin wasn’t recommended for it because I doubt they care much for children. It’s more paletteable to brain wash them and make them serve then make them an equal.
