True fans dont abandon their favourite characters out of petty agendas/powerscaling/chapters that make them look bad or w/e.

Speaking especially as a proud Stan of Eustass Kidd too regardless, as well an Admiral Stan myself too lol.

Real talk. Readers who abandon their characters cuz their agenda failed or go MIA are a bunch of little bitches who don’t deserve those characters at their best or when they get a glow-up.

Still remember the times when Admiral stans clowned on BM with Aramaki, saying he would mid-diff her, etc after negging a bunch of mere commanders… I kept true to my stance that SHE would mid-diff him instead against pro-Greenbean assaults. Deep down I knew he was a piece of trash and Oda did not disappoint me.

Readers who abandon the agenda are trash… readers who switch up on characters like Lebron does to teams are even worse than trash.

Have faith in Kidd despite hitting rock bottom and you may be rewarded EoS with some much-needed top tier portrayal and feats.

Absolutely agree and choosing him was rather for teasing purposes obviously.
Though, even in so small numbers, those panels have been quite crucial and distinctive about Aramaki.
Even the hardliner Akainu has some sense of humanity as well as the potential psychopath Kizaru.
Aramaki's display so far showed a straight up one-dimensional fascist with zero depth and presumably a short shelf-life in the story.

Acting like akainu has humanity is why people make stupid posts like these calling out admiral fans being braindead.

I love akainu as a character,but youre a real retardd if you try to make him as anything less than one piece hitler

Garp+Roger,Rayleigh and his crew all helped protect the Celestial Dragons.
Shanks is a CD himself and works with the Gorosei.
Blackbeard runs a slave market on Beehive.
Kaido and his crew enslaved the people of Wano for 20 years. Etc...

A lot of “Yonko stans” abandoned Big Mom too. Some don’t even shy from calling her Big Meme. It is what it is.
Some only care about power levels to begin with, or presentation too I guess. Things like Franky using her face as a racetrack was too much for them.

It does seem to be pretty widespread as well since they also make subcategories of Yonko and other such ridiculousness. Luffy is currently getting some of that, with some kicking him out of the Yonko club for not fulfilling their fantasies of “low diffing” an Admiral.

People’s actions and statements more often than not reveal the reason why they consider themselves fans of certain characters.

Agree but this is a cartoon where 95% of fans on here are powerscalers and only care about their faves coming out on top. So we ride or die here on the agenda.

Admiral and Yonko gangs act exactly like the set they stan, Admirals stick together while Yonko gang will sometimes beef with each other, hell I don’t even see much support for Kuzan from Admiral gang ever since he left Admiral position. It’s funny all things considered.
