This would be the biggest powercreep in shonen history and would be inconsistent as hell.

His diehard fans are so adamant about it though, that fans who use logic (well, shonen-logic) are fed up.

He will be an admiral one day, sure, but this will be during an epilogue a few years down the road.

I don't hate Koby, but his fanbase might be the most delusional one. Koby has and never will be a real rival to Luffy, only something like a little brother. He won't surpass prime Garp either, certainly not before an epilogue

Nobody thought he would do something like this before either tho

It would be weird for him to have strength like this and yet not really fight anyone.

Nothing that happened in Egghead changed my opinion at all, Koby still needed Teach to save him from Hancock, and was struggling from Kuja fodder. He certainly wasn't above anyone strong before the timeskip

Meanwhile Garp was constantly chasing the Kuja pirates
